RCC Mayoral Forum
Sunday, March 21
2:00pm-4:00 pm
Rosewood Elementary School

Rosewood Community Council (RCC) will host a forum of mayoral candidates on Sunday, March 21. The forum will be held at 2:00pm at Rosewood Elementary School and will be moderated by David Stanton. Area residents and business people are invited to submit questions for the candidates via the RCC website www.rosewoodcommunity.com or email them to info@rosewoodcommunity.com. Questions will be selected in advance for the moderated forum.

The forum will focus on issues important to those who live and work in District 3, particularly in the Rosewood area. “With this forum being held on a weekend afternoon, we hope it will be a good opportunity for voters who haven’t been able to attend the evening forums,” said Rebecca Munnerlyn, president of Rosewood Community Council. “Rosewood is a large, diverse and important community within the district, with over 10,000 residents and 100 businesses. It’s a unique intersection of residential, commercial, industrial and recreational zones, including a public airport,” she adds. “We look forward to hearing from the candidates on issues and priorities that matter to voters in this area of the City.”

Rosewood Community Council is the coordinating neighborhood council for the Rosewood area. RCC holds public meetings on third Thursdays of each month, at 6:30 p.m., in the Owens-Hamilton Airport terminal conference room (1400 Jim Hamilton Boulevard). The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held Thursday, March 18.
